Setting Up Code Snippets for Google Analytics and Tag Manager | Suburb Stack Guide

Table of Contents

Tracking and measurement are critical if you want to know which pages, suburbs, and campaigns are actually generating leads. Suburb Stack lets you add analytics and tracking pixels once and apply them across every generated page.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to set up Google Tag Manager, GA4, and other tracking pixels using code snippets in Suburb Stack.

Setting Up Code Snippets for Google Analytics and Tag Manager

Once your pages are built and SEO settings are in place, it’s time to add your tracking scripts.

Step 10: Add Code Snippets and Pixels

To add Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, or any other tracking pixels to your Suburb Stack pages, follow these steps.

Go back to your page settings.

Click Code Snippets (Header & Body).

You’ll see two sections:

  • Header – Used for scripts that must load in the <head> of the page, such as Google Tag Manager or verification tags.

  • Body – Used for scripts that load after the page body begins, such as additional tracking pixels or noscript tags.

Paste your tracking scripts into the appropriate sections.

Common examples include:

  • Google Tag Manager (GTM)

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

  • Google Ads conversion tracking

  • Meta, TikTok, or other ad platform pixels

Once your scripts are added, click Save.

What happens next

After saving, Suburb Stack automatically applies these code snippets across all generated pages tied to that template. This ensures every suburb-specific page is tracked consistently without adding scripts manually.

With tracking in place, you can confidently measure traffic, conversions, and campaign performance across your entire Suburb Stack setup.
